Common questions about drawing examinations and art education

Who can apply for the Elementary Grade Drawing (EGD) Examination?

Students of Class VI, VII, and VIII are eligible to apply for the EGD Examination.

What qualification is required for the IGD (Intermediate Grade Drawing) Examination?

Candidates must possess an attested passed Matriculation Certificate or an Elementary Grade Drawing (EGD) Examination pass certificate.

Can a candidate apply for both EGD and IGD examinations in the same year?

No. A candidate applying for EGD is not allowed to apply for IGD in the same year.

Can candidates from private institutions also apply for these exams?

Yes. Candidates from any recognized institution, whether Government or Private, can apply for both IGD and EGD examinations.

What is the maximum age limit for appearing in the IGD Examination?

The age of the candidate must not be more than 30 years.

What documents must private candidates submit with their exam forms?

Private candidates must submit the following:

  • Matric Pass Certificate
  • CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
  • Domicile Copy

How should private candidates complete their registration for the exams?

Private candidates must first fill in the registration form through the Office of the Inspector of Drawing before submitting their examination forms.
